Istra\u017eivanjem koje su sproveli stru\u010dnjaci Medicinskog fakulteta Univerziteta Saitama su bila obuhva\u0107ena 102 dijabeti\u010dara, starosti od 35 do 75 godina. Njima je preporu\u010deno da svakog dana \u0161e\u0107u 20 minuta do pola sata. Tokom sedamnaest mjeseci trajanja studije, medu 64 ispitanika koji su svakodnevno obavljali preporu\u010dene \u0161etnje, jedan do dva procenta je do\u017eivjelo sr\u010dani udar, a ni kod jednog se nije razvilo sr\u010dano oboljenje.
