Proteklih par godina, sve vi\u0161e informacija ukazuje na izuzetno kompleksnu ulogu koju jedan od njih, vitamin D, igra u odr\u017eavanju na\u0161eg zdravlja. Odavno je poznato da je vitamin D neophodan za razvitak i odr\u017eavanja zdravlja na\u0161ih kostiju. Dr Tomas Veng sa univerziteta Harvard, ka\u017ee da je va\u017enost vitamina D daleko slo\u017eenija. &#8220;Sve ve\u0107i broj nau\u010dnih publikacija ukazuje na potencijalnu ulogu vitamina D na sistem krvnih sudova i srce. Poznato je da su receptori na koje se vitamin D ve\u017ee prisutni u srcu i ve\u0107im krvnim sudovima, a eksperimentalno se pokazalo da nedostatak vitamina D uzrokuje poreme\u0107aj funkcije ovih organa&#8221;, ka\u017ee on. Rezultati koje je koristila ekipa doktora Venga potekli su iz velike studije koja je pratila hiljade ljudi skoro 60 godina. On ka\u017ee da je kod 1.700 u\u010desnika sredinom devedesetih godina provjeren nivo vitamina D u organizmu.<\/h3>\n<p>Tako se stvorio preduvjet da se potra\u017ei veza izme\u0111u ovog spoja i funkcije venskog sistema. I evo \u0161to su prona\u0161li.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Osobe koje su imale niske koncentracije vitamina D bile su izlo\u017eene 60 posto ve\u0107em riziku od razvitka kardiovaskularnih bolesti uklju\u010duju\u0107i sr\u010dani i mo\u017edani udar. A, ako su osobe s ni\u017eom koncentracijom vitamina D imale i pove\u0107ani krvni pritisak, rizik im je bio dvostruko ve\u0107i,&#8221; ka\u017ee Veng.<\/p>\n<p>Vitamin D u ljudski organizam dolazi na dva na\u010dina. Unijeti ga mo\u017eemo hranom kao \u0161to je mlijeko ili riba. Organizam ga mo\u017ee i sam sintetizirati, ali za to je potrebna izlo\u017eenost suncu. Naime, vitamin D se proizvodi u ko\u017ei koja je izlo\u017eena sun\u010devoj energiji. Oba na\u010dina zavise od puno faktora i zato se ne treba \u010duditi da je nedostatak vitamina D \u010de\u0161\u0107a pojava nego \u0161to podaci pokazuju.
