Studije pokazuju da ako jedete jaja za doru\u010dak pove\u0107ava se osje\u0107aj sitosti, smanjuje se kalorijski unos u sljede\u0107im obrocima, i da jaja poma\u017eu odr\u017eati stabilne razine \u0161e\u0107era i inzulina u krvi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mnogobrojna istra\u017eivanja donose zaklju\u010dak da su jaja za doru\u010dak u kombinaciji s nisko-kalori\u010dnom prehranom klju\u010d za br\u017eeg mr\u0161avljenje. Jadno jaje (ovisno o veli\u010dini) osigurava izme\u0111u 4,5 \u2013 6 g proteina, polovica te koli\u010dine nalazi se u bjelanjku. <strong>Bjeljanjak<\/strong> se smatra idealnim izvorom proteina jer sadr\u017ei sve esencijalne aminokiseline u pravim omjerima. Od ukupnih masti u jajetu, vi\u0161e od polovice otpada na nezasi\u0107ene masne kiseline. Jaja su nadalje dobar izvor kolina, luteina, \u017eeljeza, riboflavina (vitamina B2), folne kiseline, biotina, vitamina B12, vitamina D te vitamina E. <strong>\u017deljezo u \u017eumanjku jajeta<\/strong>, poput \u017eeljeza u mesu, ima visoku bioraspolo\u017eivost; stoga se jaje preporu\u010da skupinama koje su rizi\u010dne na deficit \u017eeljeza. Jaje je jedan od najboljih prehrambenih izvora kolina.
