Taj odnos hrane i raspolo\u017eenja potenciran je nakon otkri\u0107a veze izme\u0111u nedostatka selena i depresije.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prema nau\u010dnicima s Departmana za psihologiju Univerziteta u Svonsiju, nedostatak selena, esencijalnog elementa u tragovima koji se nalazi u <strong>\u017eitaricama, mesu i ribi<\/strong>, mo\u017ee biti povezan s pove\u0107anom anksiozno\u0161\u0107u, depresijom i zamorom. On je tako\u0111er i antioksidant i mo\u017ee da pomogne organizmu da pobijedi rak i sr\u010dana oboljenja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dnevni unos selena<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Smatra se da je prosje\u010dan unos selena za odrasle osobe oko 43 mikrograma dnevno, \u0161to je gotovo upola manje od preporuka \u2013 75 mikrograma za mu\u0161karce i 60 za \u017eene. U zemlji\u0161tima u svijetu selena ima u razli\u010ditim koncentracijama, a u Europi je prosje\u010dno znatno ni\u017ei nego u Sjevernoj Americi, \u0161to je i uzro\u010dnik ovako niskog dnevnog unosa tog mikroelementa, naro\u010dito u zemljama koje ne uvoze \u017eitarice iz Sjeverne Amerike nego insistiraju na kori\u0161tenju doma\u0107ih vrsta. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pored toga, op\u0161ta je tendencija smanjenog unosa hljeba, a stanje pogor\u0161avaju kisele ki\u0161e i enormna upotreba vje\u0161ta\u010dkih \u0111ubriva koji onemogu\u0107avaju organizmu da iskoristi odgovaraju\u0107u koli\u010dinu selena dobijenog iz biljaka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>U ispitivanju u kojem je utvr\u0111ivana veza izme\u0111u nedostatka selena i raspolo\u017eenja u\u010destvovalo je 50 osoba, kojima je davan ili placebo ili dodatak selena od 100 mikrograma na dan tokom pet nedjelja. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zamoljeni su da prate promjene u raspolo\u017eenju obra\u0107aju\u0107i pa\u017enju na hranu koju su jeli da bi se procijenio njihov ukupni dnevni unos selena.
