Nedostatak kalcija dugoro\u010dno mo\u017ee dovesti do pogor\u0161anja strukture kostiju. Kod napredne osteoporoze, kosti u kralje\u017enici, koje zovemo kralje\u0161ci uzrokuju karakteristi\u010dno pogrbljenje kralje\u017enice.<\/p>\n<p>Nedostatak gusto\u0107e kostiju toliko oslabi strukturu ko\u0161tanog tkiva da \u010dak i najmanje traume mogu izazvati frakture. Osobe koje pate od ove bolesti mogu s vremenom ostati prikovane za krevet u slu\u010daju da se ozlijede, a mogu se razviti i druge komplikacije, pa \u010dak i smrt.<\/p>\n<p>Dovoljan unos kalcija u organizam je neophodan za za\u0161titu od gubitka ko\u0161tane mase, odnosno od razvoja osteoporoze. Tokom trudno\u0107e razina hormona kod trudnica se mijenja, a fetus u razvoju mo\u017ee izvu\u0107i kalcij, \u0161to dovodi do smanjenja ukupne razine kalcija u krvi.<\/p>\n<p>Ovaj pad kalcija u organizmu ne utje\u010de na \u010dvrsto\u0107u kostiju jer hormonalne promjene to nadokna\u0111uju usmjeravanjem dovoljne koli\u010dine kalcija za kosti i rastu\u0107i fetus. Prema istra\u017eivanjima, dnevna koli\u010dina kalcija koju trebamo unijeti u tijelo je 1200 miligrama.<\/p>\n<p>Kalcij se gubi i kod dojenja. Prilikom dojenja kosti po\u010dinju gubiti svoju \u010dvrsto\u0107u. Ve\u0107ina \u017eena izgubi od 3 do 5 posto ko\u0161tane mase tijekom prvih 10 do 18 mjeseci dojenja.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Klju\u010dno je putem prehrane nadomjestiti potrebe za kalcijem<\/strong>, a po potrebi mogu\u0107e je uzimati i vitamine za trudnice te kalcij.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Za odr\u017eavanje \u010dvrsto\u0107e i zdravlja kostiju va\u0161e tijelo treba kalcij.
